1. Who we are and what this document is
FoodTech-Consulting KZ is a personal data operator within the meaning of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On personal data and its protection” No. 94-V of 21 May 2013. This Policy describes what data we collect when you use foodtech-consulting.kz, for what purposes, and what rights you have in relation to that data.

2. What data we collect
2.1. Data you provide yourself
- Contact / enquiry form: name, phone, email, the service you selected, your message.
- Account registration: name, email, password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never see it).
- FoodTech Club: billing contact details (type of legal entity, company details).
2.2. Technical data
- IP address (stored in hashed form).
- Browser, operating system, screen resolution.
- Cookies — only with your consent (see the Cookie policy).
3. Why we process data
- Responding to your enquiry / preparing a proposal.
- Concluding and performing a consulting services agreement.
- Providing access to your personal account and its features.
- Marketing mailings only with separate explicit consent.
- Complying with Kazakhstan law (tax and accounting reporting).
4. How long we keep data
- Enquiries that do not lead to a contract — 12 months.
- Contract data — 5 years after the contract is performed (Tax Code of Kazakhstan).
- Marketing consents — until consent is withdrawn.
- An account is deleted on request within 30 days (soft deletion), after which the data is erased permanently.
5. Who we share data with
- EAEU infrastructure providers: storage servers meet Kazakhstan’s personal data localisation requirements.
- Payment systems when you pay for services — only the data needed to process the payment.
- Analytics and email contractors — under confidentiality and data processing agreements.
- Law enforcement — only on official requests within the law.
6. Your rights
Under Article 24 of Law No. 94-V you have the right to:
- Obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Require correction of inaccurate data.
- Withdraw consent to processing (for consent-based purposes).
- Require deletion of data where there is no lawful ground to keep it.
- Lodge a complaint with the Kazakhstan personal data protection authority.
The simplest way is the form: personal data request. You immediately receive a reference number and the date we are obliged to reply by.

7. Security
Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it for their role, and is logged. Passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt). The connection to the site is protected by TLS 1.2+. Servers are hosted on infrastructure that meets Kazakhstan’s data localisation requirements.
8. Changes to this policy
We will notify you of material changes by email (for registered users) and via a banner on the site. The date of the last update is shown above.
